We have just completed a new flash animation project for the new Masons Amusements Arcade in Sunderland city centre. The animation will be shown on street facing monitors at their new state of the art amusement arcade which opens shortly. Initial designs were submitted followed by the development of a rolling animated loop to show key messages available within their arcade, the project was developed to allow for easy updates to key messages within the animation, have a look at the animation here: http://www.viacreative.co.uk/client/masons

Worrying times are ahead no doubt about it, and the easiest thing in the world is to stop marketing your business. However this interesting article on the Design Council website may encourage customers to realise the effectiveness of design in tough economic situations.
When markets slow down it can be tempting to cut marketing budgets, to delay new product development and to reduce research in an effort to save money. But is this the best thing to do? The Design Council argues that quality design can help your business during tough times. But then they would say that, wouldn't they? However, there's lots of evidence to support their argument. Their Design Index report shows that businesses which invest in design out-perform their peers during bull and bear markets. They tracked the share prices of design-led companies and found that they out-performed the FTSE 100 by more than 200% over 10 years to 2004.

After submitting some new creative ideas we are extremely proud to have beaten off agency competition to win the contract to produce new creative ideas for Captain Cook Square, a major shopping centre in Middlesbrough. Some hard work and ultimately ideas that answered the brief means we will be working closely with the centre's PR department, Love Marketing in developing their new advertising and media strategy throughout 2008.
Busy times at VIA at the moment, a host of small, medium, large and extra large projects coupled with some tender projects means it is very late nights indeed. VIA Creative have recently undertaken an internal design project for Invista, one of the world’s leading chemical companies based at Wilton International. The project included the design and supply of a series of 11 themed posters to illustrate the company’s internal guiding principles. Examples can be seen in the Advertising section of our portfolio. Positive feedback on the new designs has been coming in from our clients at Invista.

We have officially launched our new and revamped website to coincide with a recent rebranding exercise.
